"On Till Eulenspiegel we completed more than 16 minutes of work from storyboard to the screen, including animation, clean-up, ink&paint, compositing and final render (both to TV and 2k cinema resolution), striving to keep the same high quality from start to finish, at all production stages.
"Talking in particular about ink&paint and compositing, it is quite interesting to see our work (all strictly done with Animo) directly compared with the rest of the footage produced by other studios using competing digital animation systems. And it's possible to notice two apparently contrasting things:
- "We had worked mostly on full sequences, and in this case it's possible to appreciate the Animo quality at its best (line accuracy, colour balance, effects, light and atmosphere)
- "We also worked on a few scenes to be inserted into sequences done by other studios on competing systems, and in this case you simply can't see any difference (but somehow more accuracy), clearly demonstrating how it is perfectly possible, if requested, to mix Animo with different systems in the same production, and even inside the same sequence. You only have to tune the original quality of Animo down to the other systems' standards!"
